This half term we have been reading Unstoppable by Dan Freedman. The book links to BFC's transition programme for schools.
We have also been reading Holes by Louis Sacher. Linked to this novel, the children have written their own balanced arguments, looking at whether Youth Offenders' Institutions are a good idea or not.
This half term is short, but we have lots to fit in! We will be consolidating our learning of grammar, punctuation and spelling in preparation for our SATS tests. In addition, we will be creating a piece of narrative writing, learning how to create dialogue that conveys character and moves on the action in a story.
